MEN’S TEAM COMPETITIONS
Scratch Team: Straight knockout Team of played off scratch during the summer
months.
7 a side: Straight knockout Team of 7 played off handicap during the summer
months.
LADIES TEAM COMPETITIONS
Ladies’ Scratch Team: League match played as a team of 5 played off scratch,
normally played between March and July.
Ladies Division Team: League match played as a team of 5 played off handicap,
normally played between March and July.
MIXED TEAM COMPETITIONS
Ping Mixed Foursomes: Team of 3 couples (1 male & 1 Female) foursomes
knockout played during the summer months.
HANDICAPS
Royal St David’s Golf club is a member of the Welsh Golf Union and is bound by
the provisions of the WHS.
OBTAINING A HANDICAP
To obtain a handicap a player is required to complete 54 holes. These can be 9 or
18 holes scores. A minimum of 54 holes is required to obtain a Handicap.
BOARD COMPETITIONS - HANDICAP RULES
To enter Board Competitions, players must have a minimum of 12 scores on
your handicap record with a minimum of 4 of those cards returned in an of昀椀cial
handicap qualifying competition within 12 months of the competition closing
date.
